The Straw Hat Pirates might be the strongest crew inOne Piece, but they are not perfect. Especially the Swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates, Roronoa Zoro. He might look like a character any of the crew members can depend on, but he has a few flaws that may reflect badly on his character but essentially make him human.
During a subreddit discussion, aOne Piecefan revealed Zoro’s biggest flaw is his arrogance, which has been a part of him since the beginning of the series. No matter how much he grows as a character, this flaw will always be with him because of his nature. His arrogant personality has caused a lot of trouble for him and his crewmates.
However, he is not the only one who is flawed. Eiichiro Oda, the creator ofOne Piece, has given every Straw Hat member, including Captain Monkey D. Luffy, some definite flaws that add realism to the narrative ofOne Piece, making it more relatable forOne Piecefans.
Roronoa Zoro is Not a Perfect Character
According tou/CapnCallipygous, Zoro has had some of the dumbest moments in the history ofOne Piece, and most of them are the result of his arrogance. The biggest example of this is when he almost killed a Celestial Dragon and started a war, only because he shot at him for standing in his way and refusing to move.

However,his arrogance is justifiedconsidering that he is one of the strongest swordsmen in the world and the right-hand man of one of the Emperors of the Sea. But he needs to understand the situation first and then act accordingly because his arrogance has caused a lot of trouble for him and his crewmates.
Still, when it comes to the real stuff, he is quite mature compared to other Straw Hat Pirates and can be reliable in difficult situations. This is one of the reasons why he is one of the most popular characters in the entire series and has amassed a huge fan following.
Zoro is Not the Only Straw Hat Member With Flaws
Despite his outward flaws, Zoro might be the least problematic of the Straw Hat Pirates. Most of the Straw Hat crew members are immature and dumb, especially their captain, Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy is titled as one of the most dense main characters in the entire Shonen genre. He is deemed rarely serious and as someone who doesn’t have a shred of common sense.
And similar to him, other Straw Hat members like Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Nami, Brook, and Franky have some flaws that are reflected in their actions. While some are cowardly and weak, others are difficult and careless. Still, somehow all of them fit together and make one of the strongest crews in the entireOne Pieceuniverse.
