Just like how Luffy and the Straw Hats always have each other’s backs and are ready to face death for any of their teammates, the Black Bulls are no less inBlack Clover. In fact, in one legendary instance, they were ready to go against the whole Clover Kingdom’s justice system just to save Asta.
The Unfair Devil Trial inBlack Clover
Episode 121 to 122 of Black Clover covered the Devil Trial of Asta and Secre Swallowtail. It was held by Damnatio Kira to blame them for the reincarnation of the elves. Secre and Asta are unexpectedly arrested at the Magic Parliament. Damnatio revealed that either Asta has to take the fall and get convicted or the Black Bull members would have to die.
He also brought out a chained Marie Adlai and imposed unfair charges on her to make Asta react. In order to save Marie from execution, Asta had to enter black form. He tries to prove to the nobles and audience that he can control his devil power, but no one would believe him and only looked at him with disgust.

Damnatio then tells Asta to surrender so that the Magic Knights could be spared. Asta is determined not to give up, but he cannot tolerate being the reason behind several innocent deaths. In a way, the trial was framed to ensure that public unrest would be put to a stop by punishing Asta. However, the untimely entrance of the Black Bull squad ruined everything.

Episode 122 ofBlack Cloverprobably showed one of the best nakamamoments in the history of anime.Before Damnatio could take any damning steps against Asta, the Black Bull members entered like a whirlpool to take down the whole system and save Asta and Secre.
As soon asYami entered with his squad,everyone in the court room was stupefied as each of the members rattled off about Asta and his endearing qualities. Some of them praised his humble nature and dedication, while others praised him in a sarcastic manner. Yet, everyone wanted Secre and Asta back and were even ready to go against the order of the kingdom for it.
This can be easily called one of the most iconic moments in anime where friendship and camaraderie took the top spot. As soon as Yami and his squad entered, fans gasped all over the world and the episode is still extremely loved by its audiences. Soon after, the Black Bull squad was ready to square up against anyone who would dare take Asta away from them. Thankfully, the intervention of Nozel and Fuegoleon saved the Black Bulls from being blacklisted as criminals.
