The newest entry in the classic RPG adventure (Dragon Age 4) is now titledDragon Age: The Veilguard, and gamers will be able to watch exclusive gameplay footage on June 11. Bioware has published this information, and there’s a good reason for the name change.

From complex characters to myths and magic,The Veilguard(previously titledDreadwolf)will bring players to the realm of Thedas. The name change entails certain details the studio hasn’t revealed before, and the RPG experience this time around plans to please players with new content.
The Name Change Reflects a Newfound Narrative
According to ablog postby BioWare,Dragon Age: Inquisitionbrought the studio a much-needed route to success and creative freedom which has been experimented with thanks to the newest entry. With the support of EA and the talented minds at BioWare, the new game will craft a story that finds itself in the midst of friendship and enmity.

According to the devs, the original title wasn’t reflective of the true nature of the game. Instead, the rename will shed light on the importance of this world’s characters and all it wishes to tell:
To capture what this game is all about, we changed the name as the original title didn’t show just how strongly we feel about our new heroes, their stories and how you’ll need to bring them together to save all of Thedas.

BioWare has also mentioned how every character in the narrative will directly reflect the choices players make throughout their journey:
Each of the seven unique characters that make up your companions will have deep and compelling storylines where the decisions you make will impact your relationships with them.

June 11 will give players a glimpse of what to expect fromDragon Age: The Veilguard’sgameplay mechanics and storyline.
