In an interview withNPR, Norris opened up about the challenges of filming the scene. The actor revealed that since there was no dialog, the scene was filmed with the episode director Michelle MacLaren giving him specific notes for reactions.

Norris made the above statement regarding the intense shootout scene, which resulted in Hank killing one of the cousins to save his life.

The actor added that the scene was challenging to film because of the external logistics to execute the finer details of the shootout.
