WhyDie Hardis Such An Iconic Film?
Several factors madeDie Hardquite the unique offering in the late ’80s and early ’90s action films, which in turn helped it to become an icon.
The main draw for the audience’s reverence was the character of John McClane himself, who was not your typical action hero with nerves of steel and an invincible body. He was just your typical flawed, renegade cop who was trying to get by, something that connected with the audience. Adding such a character to a well-paced story that developed his character further was a masterstroke.

Along with some amazingly choreographed action sequences, which paid homage to classic westerns, it proved itself to be the action film that would become an icon in cinema history.
