Will Ferrell had to face betrayal at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards as he took to stage to present the award for Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. He appeared together with Kristen Wiig to announce the winner before they presented a skit that made them look like a “J-Hole” on stage.

Kristen Wiig andWill Ferrellcame together at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday night to present the award for Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. However, the duo’s comical nature was reflected in theawards ceremony.

As the duo were doing their usual ceremonial presentation to announce and acknowledge the category, they found themselves astonished when Kevin Mcleod’sFluffing a Duckstarted playing out of nowhere.

TheSaturday Night Livealums resumed their presentation but got halted by the track once again which led them to dance the night away.At one point, Ferrell yelled,“What is going on?!”The pair eventually admitted that the track had always done something to them.TheOld Schoolstar shared,

Their amusing performance is surely a skit that worked perfectly as it led the audience to burst into peels of laughter.

At the 81st Golden Globe Awards, there were many categories selected to honor the hard work of people in filmmaking last year. For Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category, six nominations were made to the final list before the top contender was announced. Paul Giamatti eventually bagged the award for his performance inThe Holdovers.

The Christmas-comedy film follows the story of Paul Hunham (Giamatti), a classics teacher who is forced to supervise a handful of students at a New England boarding school with nowhere to go on Christmas break.

Meanwhile, the other contenders include Nicolas Cage forDream Scenario,Timothée Chalamet forWonka,Matt Damon forAir,Joaquin Phoenix forBeau Is Afraid,and Jeffrey Wright forAmerican Fiction.
