This battle, in a way, led to the defeat of the Navy and the Five Elders from the World Government. Thus, someone needed to take responsibility, and Imu decided that this ‘someone’ should be Saturn. The spoilers disclosed that Imu gave the most brutal punishment to Saturn and also took away his title as the Warrior God of Science and Defense.

The spoilers revealed that Imu was highly disappointed in Saturn and decided to take his anger out on the Elder. Using his mysterious abilities, Imu was able to burn Saturn with black flames and change the physicality of his body.

Saturn is seen conversing with Imu in his head as he transforms into a wrinkled old man and keeps burning.
Imu is angry with Saturn for letting Luffy get away, and thus he decides to replace him and destroy him. Saturn’s replacementturns out to be Figarland Garling, who supposedly has been waiting for this for a long time. He meets all the other Elders and announces that he has been appointed as the new Warrior God of Science and Defense and he is going to make some major changes.
Figarland Garling Becoming an Elder Can Be A Big Problem
Just like the other major characters from the World Government, Saint Figarland Garling is a mystery for theOne Piecefans. Although he has been featured in a few chapters, fans don’t know much about him, but theories have been developed aboutGarling being Shanks father.
Also, it is believed that he is one of the most ruthless Celestial Dragons in theOne Pieceworld. He is determined in his ways and does not have a slight respect or admiration for people of lower status. He believes that they should not exist in the world and that it is all for the Celestial Dragons to take.

Thus, Garling getting the title of one of the Five Elders means that he is going to be given even more power than he already has.
