It’s a bit like standing in front of an ice cream truck, mouth-watering, only to find out they’re out of your favorite flavor. Ever had that feeling when you’re waiting for something so good, yet time seems to be dragging its feet? That’s exactly how Marvel fans are feeling aboutDaredevil: Born Again.

The first trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ series is still nowhere to be found, and we’re all just sitting here, counting the days. And let’s face it – waiting this long for a trailer? It’s almost like déjà vu all over again…but not in a good way.
Marvel has earned itself a frustrating new record, and not the kind anyone’s proud of.Daredevil: Born Again, which will premiere on March 4, is only 55 days away, and yet, the trailer remains elusive. It’s almost like Marvel’s playing hard to get with its own audience.

Daredevil: Born Again: The Painfully long wait for a trailer that’s almost here
You know that feeling when you’re desperately waiting for something, and it feels like time itself is giving you the cold shoulder? The one thing that makes it worse is when you know the thing you’re waiting for is only 55 days away (at the time of writing)… and yet, you still have to stare at an empty screen. This really is the sad, frustrating tale ofDaredevil: Born Again—a series that, for all its promise, is breaking records for all the wrong reasons (perThe Direct).
MCU’s ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Starts With a 5-Year Time Jump From the Netflix Show for an Endearing Reason, Confirms Actor
And here we are again, witnessing the MCU stumble into a territory we’ve all seen before. RememberLoki Season 2and that godforsaken wait for its first trailer? Well,Daredevil: Born Againhas stolen that crown. The gap between the release of its first trailer and the series debut is going to be the shortest ever in MCU history. This feels like a serious resurrection of frustration.
It wasn’t always this way. Take a stroll down memory lane, and you’ll see that MCU used to give us breathing room. TheLokiseason 2 trailer was released a solid 66 days before the series premiered, and that’s already too close for comfort. Compare that toWandaVision, where we got 116 days to stew in excitement. OrMoon Knight, which stretched things out for 71 days. This isn’t just about trailers; it’s about the pacing, the buildup—the emotional engagement fans deserve.

It’s all part of the MCU’s bigger plan, or rather, their disorganized mess of a plan. Can we blameCharlie Cox, the man who’s been standing in the spotlight, ready to once again breathe life into Matt Murdock? No, of course not. It’s the mismanagement behind the scenes, the decision-making that leaves us all scratching our heads.
Daredevil: Born Againtrailer delay – Will Marvel make us wait until the Super Bowl?
Just look at the MCU’s past—each new show has had its trailer out at least two to three months in advance. Yet, here we are, just a mere two months away fromDaredevil: Born Again’sDisney+ debut and there’s no sign of a trailer. And it’s possible it could land at any moment between January 13 and 19, which would give fans just enough time to mentally prepare for Matt Murdock’s long-awaited return to the spotlight.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. There’s a real possibility that Marvel will hold off until Super Bowl LIX on February 9 to give the show its grand unveiling, possibly alongside other major Marvel trailers. If the MCU does go this route, it would mark the first time the company used this high-profile event to showcase a Disney+ series.

Historically, Marvel has opted to showcase sizzle reels at the Super Bowl, but could they really pass up the chance for a major trailer drop? There’s speculation that Marvel might also choose this moment to teaseThe Fantastic Four: First Steps, which could make for an epic one-two punch.
But debuting the trailer at the Super Bowl might not be Marvel’s best bet. After all, there’s already a heavy load of anticipation for trailers from other MCU heavyweights likeCaptain America: Brave New World. Not to mention, Marvel has recently been juggling promotions for their animated series likeWhat If…?andYour Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Speaking of Spider-Man, the animated show sees Charlie Cox reprise his role as Matt Murdock—a perfect bridge for his live-action return inDaredevil: Born Again.

Maybe Marvel’s playing the long game, letting both projects complement each other and build excitement.

The good news? All this means that Marvel is not letting Daredevil’s return be buried under a pile of other hype. They’re making us wait, but the payoff will be worth it. July 06, 2025, is the date to remember—Daredevil: Born Againwill finally flip back into our lives, exclusive to Disney+. Until then, fans can only hope for that first trailer to hit soon, because as we all know, anticipation is half the fun… or is it?
