DoesCall of Duty: Warzonehave a problem with players “stacking” on top of each other, or is that just the reality of a team-based multiplayer game? That’s the hot debate in theCall of Dutycommunity right now.

While you will find a plethora of different clips circulating on X (formerly Twitter), it wasone from content creator Saxzuthat sparked this heated debate. “Rebirth Island is amazing but the players ruined it,” Saxzu said after encountering a full team in a game of Quads (surprising, I know).

In the clip, which you can see below, the streamer attempted to take on a full team after queuing for the team-based mode solo, and then acted surprised when he was pushed by…you guessed it, a full team.

Props to Saxzu, he still managed to take out the entire team by himself, but this is where the big difference in this argument comes into play.

Not Every Call Of Duty Player Is A Streamer

Content creators, Twitch streamers, YouTubers, whatever you want to label them as, play video games like Call of Duty for a living. There’s no denying that they’re good at the game, but they kind of have to be.

To the everyday casual Call of Duty player, queuing for a team-based mode solo seems bizarre, but that’s because casual players aren’t looking for “sick” clips to post online. If you’re wondering why Saxzu decided to go into a game of Quads by himself, it’s because he’s much better than the common player. He has the skills to take on full teams, get a gnarly clip of him wiping a full team, then post it to YouTube. But does that entitle him to get mad about casual players actually playing as a team? I don’t think so.

While streamers search for amazing content everyday, casuals just want to get on after work, play a few games and maybe, just maybe, even get a win. How dare they! So why should they be ridiculed for sticking with their teammates and having a stronger chance of securing a win? I promise you, if a team challenges a skilled player one person at a time, it’s going to end badly for them.

The Community Is Divided

While I’ve made my stance on the matter clear, plenty of players and content creators are voicing their opinions on the debate. Despite the fact that some content creators believe stacking is ruining Warzone, there are some who believe players should be able to play however they want to.

After a viewer pointed out that players will never get better by stacking,ModernWarzone shot backby saying, “Some people don’t give a fuck if they ever get better, some people aren’t playing Warzone to get better. Some people are playing Warzone to have fun with their friends.”

Fellow content creatorAdio also chimed inon the matter, saying that it makes them happy seeing streamers get mad over the stacking issue.

But not everybody is on the same side of the fence.X user Novha said, “To play this way in a pub is mind-boggling, each person on the team should be able to hold their own without stacking every game.” Unfortunately, this is pretty much the only argument you’re going to see if you take a peak over the fence into the “stacking is a problem” side of the argument.

Others will merely attempt to clown on you for playing as a team, but will have no real argument as to why you should be running around on your own and not sticking with your team to get the win.

If you want to queue for Quads on your own, go at it, I hope you have a great time. But don’t be surprised when you encounter a full team. It’s simple: let people play however they want to play. Don’t want to get steamrolled? Better head back to Solos.
