Warzone 2DMZ sees the arrival of the Vondel exclusion zone, along with a brand-new faction known as Phalanx. Now that you have reached reputation level 6 for Phalanx, you will be able to move on to theTier 2 Story Mission: Long Distance. This particular mission will see you gathering an item of interest in Vondel, and then carrying out a particular task in Al Mazrah.

Long Distance is the Tier 2 Story Mission for the Phalanx faction in Season 4. This mission consists of three objectives:take the tracker from the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop,use 3 UAV Towers in Al Mazrah while carrying the trackerin the same deployment, and thendeliver the loaded tracker back to the Zoo Dead Drop. Fulfilling all three objectives will reward you with the Spartan Glory emblem and 15,000 XP.
To fulfill the first objective of Long Distance, you will be tasked withtaking the tracker from the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop. Those of you that have completedIcebreakershould be familiar with this particular dumpster. However, if you are unsure of where it is located, you will find it beside the building on thesouthwest side of the Zoo. Open up the dumpster and loot the GPS Triangulator found inside. Doing so will complete the first objective.
You will also need toextract the GPS Triangulator, as it will need to be taken over to Al Mazrah for the second part of this mission.

Use 3 UAV Towers In Al Mazrah Whilst Carrying The Tracker In The Same Deployment
To fulfill the second objective of Long Distance, you will need toactivate 3 UAV Towers in Al Marzrah whilst carrying the tracker- all in the same deployment. Now that you have secured the GPS Triangulator from Vondel, infil into Al Mazrah with it in your backpack. From here you will need to activate a total of3 different UAV Towersaround the map. Once you have done so, the GPS Triangulator will become loaded, and the second objective will be complete.
You will also need toextract the Loaded GPS Triangulator, as it will need to be taken to Vondel for the third and final step.
To fulfill the third and final objective of Long Distance, you will be tasked withdelivering the now-loaded tracker back to the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop. Start by infilling into Vondel with the Loaded GPS Triangulator. All that is left now is to head back to the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop and place the Loaded GPS Triangulator into the dumpster. Doing so will fulfill the third objective, thus completing the Long Distance mission and unlocking the Tier 3 missions for Phalanx.
If at any point youlose the Loaded GPS Triangulatorbefore securing it into the Zoo Dead Drop, you will need torepeat the first and second portions of this mission.
