What Is The NewValorantTethered Realms Bundle?
In a Dev-Talk with YouTuberaSmoogl,Valorantdevelopers reveal their thinking process behind making skin bundles. They give the example of the ‘Forsaken’ bundle whose art goes along with the actual banner which serves for storytelling.
For the newValorantTethered Realms bundle, we see a lot more emphasis on the storytelling part. The developers explain how they’ve been working to incorporate and explain what theValorantworld is about.
The skins in the Tethered Realms bundle feature a green-screen-like animation across their guns on the Forsaken model. This feature gives you a peak into the reality from where the Forsaken and Sovereign bundle originate from in theValorantworld.
The realities of these origin worlds, whether it be Forsaken’s evil and corrupted reality or Sovereign’s good and just reality, are reflected inside the Tethered Realms bundle itself. These alternate depending on the amount of light reflecting off the skin. Some guns show the Forsaken reality in dark while others show the Sovereign reality in dark.
What Is The NewValorantTethered Realms Knife?
The new knife in theValorantTethered Realms is basically the sword that comes down during the last kill in the Sovereign bundle. This sword is going to be a new weapon in itself with the upcoming Tethered Realms bundle.
An interesting aspect about the bundle’s knife is that on its level two upgrade, you wield two knives in two hands. This is a first forValorantwith the Tethered Realms bundle and will prove to be an interesting experiment. It’s also important to remember that enemies won’t see a second knife to maintain similar gameplay across skin bundles.
What Is the Price And Release Date of Tethered Realms?
So far, we don’t have an official price or a release date for Tethered Realms. However, we could project a price similar to the top-tier bundles in the game currently. It is fair to estimate the bundle to be a part of the Ultra edition, thus putting its price at 9900 VP for most regions.
