Riot Games’Valoranthas many different game modes, including a custom game mode, however, it seems like this mode is not Riot Games’ priority as the studio has neglected it for so long. Other games likeOverwatch 2provide players with a great toolkit that allows them to get creative and create many exciting custom game modes, butValorant‘s custom game mode creator menu doesn’t have much.

This mode hasn’t been updated in a very long time and certainly has a lot of potential. Most of Riot Games’ focus is on competitive game mode but if they add a better menu in custom game mode, players might start exploring new things withinValorant, making it much better.
Riot Games Needs To FixValorant‘s Custom Game Mode
It’s no secret that Riot Games has been neglectingValorant‘s custom game mode for a long time now. The custom game mode creator menu just doesn’t provide players with enough options. The custom mode has a lot of potential and players who wish to get creative just execute their ideas. Players just want more control over what they can do in custom game modes.
“Probably mining the PC for data”: VALORANT’s Long-Standing Issue Affects Players’ PCs, and It’s Time Riot Games Took Action
Blizzard Entertainment prioritizes this as they constantly update their custom game mode creator menu, allowing players to create many exciting game modes. It seems like Riot Games loves to ignore everything besides things that will actually affect the competitive side of the game.
ValorantAlso Needs A Replay System
Since the very beginning,Valorantplayers have been requesting Riot Games to add a replay system as it would help in skill boosting and strategy analysis. Earlier this year, Riot Games claimed that replays introduce new requirements that aren’t present in normal games. The studio has been working on the idea but it’s still not ready.
Valorant’s Console vs PC Debate Reaches All Time High: “PC community just sh*ts on the console players”
Recently, Riot Games confirmed thatValorantwill move from Unreal Engine 4 toUnreal Engine 5. The SVP and studio head ofValorant, Anna Donlon, explained that the transition will be difficult but it is necessary. Hopefully, this change will allow Riot Games to add Replay system into the game as well as a better custom games creator menu.
It’s not like Riot Games is only focused on competitive mode as they have also planned to add some new tutorials in the game. Rumors suggest that anadvanced training modewill be introduced inValorant Mobile. This training mode will provide tutorials for two popular skills inValorant: Jiggle Peek and Jump Peek. The community strongly believes that the console and PC versions ofValorantwill also get this advanced tutorial mode soon.
