While opinions are personal,Barbara Corcoransurprised many in the past when she praised Trump’s marketing skills. She based this on her firsthand experiences of working with the president-elect, citing his historic Plaza Hotel deal.

Corcoran added that during this deal, Trump focused more on selling the land and the future development around the hotel. She also added:
I watched him totally not pitch about the hotel but talked about the land masses and the Hudson River and all the buildings that would be there.They [the buyers] were not the least bit interested; they just wanted to buy the Plaza Hotel. I watched him and thought he was so off.

She continued:
But he wasn’t. In the end, they bought the land and built all those towers on the west bank of the Hudson River that we know today.
Corcoran also praised Trump for his ability to understand people’s weaknesses and use them to his advantage in business and politics. While she and Cuban have different views on Trump, they still maintain a professional and respectful relationship on the show.

You cannot believe Kevin Hart. He blew us all away. He was smarter than all the ‘Sharks’ put together. He came on the set, we expected comedy because we all love him as a comic, yeah but he’s a genius.
He was like a walking computer, he did numbers faster than Mark Cuban, he negotiated like he had been doing it his whole life. He blew us away. In fact, he was so good we just stopped and stared at him. We forgot we were ‘Sharks.
Barbara Corcoran didn’t hold back in her praise for Kevin Hart, calling him a“genius”and warning others not to underestimate him. The Sharks, who are usually confident in their business skills, gained a newfound respect for Hart after his appearance on the show.
