As if we didn’t already have enough concrete evidence that a new Tony Hawk remaster is coming,Activisionhas given us yet another tease.

According to a CharlieInteltweetand a Dexertopost, the Grind multiplayer map inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, of all games, suggests that an announcement related to theTony Hawk’s Pro Skaterseries is coming extremely soon, on March 4.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater teaser in Black Ops 6

This is the second tease related to the series we’ve gotten this week, after professional skater Tyshawn Jonesmentioned appearing in an upcoming remasteron the Breakfast Club podcast just two days ago, after he was previously in 2020’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.

Tony Hawk himself has also mentioned that the seriesstill has a future.

The teaser in Black Ops 6 is located in Grind’s shop area, where a sign can be seen that says “03.04.25” – or June 26, 2025 – with the logo for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series. While it could just be set dressing, it seems too intentional to not mean anything, if you ask me.

The Grind map itself is a fan-favorite from Black Ops 2 and returned in Black Ops 4. It puts players in a skatepark, complete with grind rails and ramps.

In other words, if they wanted to tease a new Tony Hawk’s remaster in any of their current games, it’s the perfect place to do it.

While Jones’s mention of a new remaster was a little less specific, and he had been talking about the Skate series from EA, this one is coming from Activision themselves.

After the success and positive reception of Vicarious Visions’ remaster of the first two games, it seems obvious that Activision would want to follow them up with a remaster of Pro Skater 3 and 4.

Vicarious Visions has since beenmerged with Blizzard, renamed Blizzard Albany, and helped develop 2021’s Diablo II: Resurrected before going on to assist with Diablo IV and itsVessel of Hatred expansion, so it remains to be seen who Activision would give the responsibility of a new Tony Hawk remaster.

For now, all we can do is speculate about what the teaser might mean, but we won’t need to wait long before we know for sure – March 4 is only a short week and a half away.
