Tom Holland seems to have a lot of great films on the horizon, but there is one film that might have been an ironic project to pick, right after it was announced that he and his long-time partner and Spider-Man co-star Zendaya, are engaged.

While it might be the case that Holland’s engagement and his signing of the film were on different trajectories, the timeline of the announcement of both these developments is nothing short of hilarious, if not hella ironic.

Tom Holland has been trying to diversify his acting image beyond just Spider-Man. Having been part of some gritty thrillers and action-adventure films, the actor has still not been able to shake off his wholesome image.

The film that is in focus right now, will be an adaptation of the John Grisham novel namedThe Partner. The story of the novel follows one Patrick Lanigan, who finds himself starting a new life after faking his death, fooling the fraudsters of his law firm and his wife.
