In a recent interview withExtra TV, Hardy reiterated his belief that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is the best rendition to date, stating that he wouldn’t want his Venom to go head-to-head with him. He further elaborated:
Oh, Venom is just like a gorilla, right? Isn’t he? He’ll do what he has to do. I think it would be good fun. I think Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man there was ever played. And I am really fond of him. I think he is a great actor and a great kid. I mean grown man now; I’m an old man. But I’d like to work with him.
When the interviewer asked if he would win in a fight between them, Hardy replied with a smile,“No, no. I am too old for that. You know I’ve been in a fight, though.”The actor concluded that it might still not be the last time we will see Venom, and there are a lot more stories to tell.
