There’s one thing that’s common betweenChainsaw ManandJujutsu Kaisen— both series are brilliantly animated by the same studio, MAPPA. As one of the leading giants in the animation industry, the studio is top-tier in its game, being a steady competitor to the likes of Ufotable and Toei Animation.

And while Akutami’s series was lauded, Fujimoto’s anime was heavily criticized for various reasons. Though tides are turning in the latter’s favor, especially with the studio’s latest trailer.
After almost two years, MAPPA released the trailer of Reze Arc, and to say the least, it’s more than promising. From animation to visuals, it is nothing short of iconic.

This also puts Akutami’s series to shame, especially in line with the blatant criticism directed at Fujimoto’s story. The trailer overshadows the past hate and censure with its animation par excellence.
Reze Arc’s trailer outlines MAPPA’s brilliance
Over the yearsMAPPAhas produced some of the finest anime in the shonen genre. FromAttack on TitantoVinland Saga, the studio is lauded for its excellent animation. But mostly, their work outlines refinement and intricacies in many aspects.
This also extends to Tatsuki Fujimoto’s seriesChainsaw Man. While it is reminiscent of gore and blood, the studio takes it to a whole new level. From animation to visuals, the series is a true banger. But that is not all considering their latest update regarding the series.

After almost two years, the studioreleased an updateregarding Reze Arc. While most fans were hyped, others seemed disinterested. The Arc is set to focus on Denji’s dynamic with Reze along with shocking revelations.
Moreover, it will highlight potential foes including devils and governments. From betrayal to romance, the Arc is truly riveting and enthralling for fans. And most would agree with the spectacular trailer that outlines MAPPA’s brilliance.

With the Reze Arc’s trailer, MAPPA raised the bar through its stellar animation in every aspect. As fans await the movie’s release, one thing is certain. The movie is a clapback at the past criticism and censure directed at the anime.
Moreover, it outclasses its contemporary despite both being produced by the same studio. While Akutami’s series is hailed as MAPPA’s signature anime, it might lose its rightful spot with the film’s release.
Chainsaw ManoutclassesJujutsu Kaisendespite past criticism
Chainsaw ManandJujutsu Kaisenare top-notch anime in terms of their storytelling and splendid animation. Both are award-winning anime that carved their niche’ in the shonen genre, but there is a caveat to that as well especially with fans’ treatment of the series.
While Akutami’s series was deemed the Anime of the Year, Fujimoto’s anime flatlined in most aspects. This includes theever-looming pacing problemalong with animation as some fans criticized the studio for its heavy usage of CGI which doesn’t make sense for the most part.
One of the common problems with most series is that of pacing. If it is cramped, it feels rushed especially with the set number of episodes. On the other hand, if it is well-explored, it may feel slow-paced. At this rate, it is almost like some fans have aknack for nitpicking.
And while the series faced flak from fans, the film seeks to outdo it. Not only does it highlight brilliance but it is top-tier in most aspects. It notched up the game with its visuals which only means that MAPPA is taking its position seriously.
