Frank Fritz Unable to Return toAmerican PickersFollowing Serious Stroke
Frank Fritz is a popular face among fans ofAmerican Pickersand one of the show’s original co-hosts. As a result, fans were shocked and disheartened to learn that Fritz had suffered a debilitating stroke in July 2022.
While Fritz is no longer in danger and on the road to recovery, fans hoped to see him return to the hit reality show. However, according to an exclusive report from theUS Sun, Fritz’s stroke has affected his speech, as revealed by a source close to the reality star.
“The stroke affected his speech, so he really can’t return to the show. But you never know. There is always hope one day.”
In the same interview, another source stated that while the show’s cast and crew want Fritz to return, he is not in the condition to go back to filming the series. The new health update is certainly disappointing for the show’s fans, but they will at least be happy that Fritz is recovering.
Earlier last year, Fritz wasreportedlyplaced under conservatorship because of his health condition following the stroke. However, a source close to Fritz later revealed that he was recovering well, and the show’s cast and crew were keeping in touch with him. Therefore, a return to the series was not entirely out of the question.

American Pickersdebuted in January of 2010 with childhood friends Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe headlining it. The series has had a successful run with the duo at the forefront, churning out twenty-four seasons in the past thirteen years. However, Fritz has been absent from the show’s more recent episodes and hasn’t featured in an episode for nearly three years.
In July 2021, it wasconfirmedthat Fritz would not return to the antiquing roadshow. At the time, it was reported that Fritz was undergoing back surgery and battling Crohn’s disease. Furthermore, the Covid-19 pandemic presented additional health concerns for Frtiz, cited as the primary reason behind his absence from the series. Fritz’s final appearance on the show came back in the thirteenth episode of season 21, which aired in March 2020. We wish Fritz a speedy recovery.
