With the upcoming release of the final film in theVenomtrilogy, an“alien”villain has presented itself for a potential SonySpider-Manfilm. Fans are pretty sure that the man with the stringy white hair in the trailer of Tom Hardy’sVenom: The Last Danceis Knull. Besides spotting the character, fans also strengthened their suspicion when Venom mentioned his“creator”.
The speculations all point toward Garfield returning for another SSMU film. TheTASMseries was supposed to have at least two more sequels and several spinoffs. The reception for Garfield’s character made Sony realize their mistake. According to insider@MyTimeToShineH, Garfield is reportedly returning as Spider-Man for two more films.

While many speculate it to beSpider-Man 4andAvengers: Secret Wars, it is also possible that these could be SSMU projects.
What Are Andrew Garfield’s Spidey’s Chances Against Knull?
Tom Hardy‘sVenomtrilogy is set to go out with a bang with the third film. IntroducingKnull seemed to be the appropriate movefor Hardy’s possible grand finale in the universe. In Marvel Comics, Knull is the god of darkness who created the symbiotes. He existed in the primordial void between the Sixth and Seventh Cosmoses until he was awakened by the Celestials invading his kingdom of darkness.
“Need the swinging scenes to hit hard”: Tom Holland Can Finally Match Up to Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man 4 Confirms Shang-Chi Director at the Helm
He experimented with his powers and created a Hive of parasitic creatures that he could control when he became stranded on a nameless planet. Knull eventually loses connection with his symbiotes, who turn against him and trap him at the core of the throneworld. In the comics, it is Eddie Brock who frees the Knull due to the actions of Carnage.
Fans will get to see this epic battle between Venom and Knull inThe Last Dance. The comic lore portrays Knull as far too powerful for Spider-Man. However, if Andrew Garfield gets the chance to don the symbiote black suit in a potential thirdTASMfilm, he would finally fulfill his wish to fight an alien.

Venom: The Last Danceis scheduled to be released on August 10, 2025.
