If you’re on the lookout for some ofThe Last of Us Part 2fan art, you’ll be spoiled for choice. The internet is buzzing with Ellie sketches, especially, and who could blame them given that we see the revenge stricken young woman in so many expressive sequences. This time though, we have an expressionless Ellie as if she has just seen or did something terrible and the aftermath being her blood-soaked face. There are many things that could be said about this piece of Ellie art and illustrator Chloe Veillard encapsulates them all so well.

French artist Chloe Veillard from Paris who is equipped with skills that range from concept art to character design is a master at creating art that draws the viewer in. Here we see Ellie fromThe Last of Us Part 2at the conclusion of something awful. Whether it is witnessing a tragic event right in front of her eyes that she can’t quite believe has happened or a situation that occurred by her own hands that has left her in a fog of shock, it’s plain to see that Ellie is almost in some sort of a trance-like state with a single tear beginning to form in one eye. Artist Chloe still, somehow, manages to enhance Ellie’s more innocent and childlike features beneath the blood and scratches that we are used to seeing in The Last of Us - something that is hard to now imagine given what we have seen and know of Ellie so far in the trailers.

Chloe’s incredible art doesn’t stop at drawing Ellie. While scrolling through herInstagram, you’ll see some amazing and powerful works of art that include abreathtaking one ofGris. Chloe states that their love forGrisstarted with the beautiful visuals found at every corner within the game. Here Chloe partakes in their own interruption of the game’s main character, Gris, who is a girl lost in her own world and dealing with a painful experience in her life. Again, Chloe’s skill at capturing emotion such as pain is truly incredible and we also see that this particular drawing ofGrisbears the same teardrop from the eye as seen in the Ellie one.

As someone who loves art and also fan art, Chloe’s sketches really are fascinating to look at where I probably spent way too much time totally in awe of their work. You can view them all in their glory over on Chloe’sInstagramorArt Station.

If you’re more into cosplay than drawings or sculptures, check out Cristian Drake’s fan-madeThe Last of Us Part 2trailer that’s so good, it looks like it came straight from Naughty Dog and it even got some praise from Neil Druckmann. Since we don’t get to wander outside as much now,LaTrickster2994recently brought usan incredible aerial shotof downtown L.A to show us what we’ve been missing. The actual picture comes fromCarl Lammia cinematographer in L.A who took the image using their drone and instantly it reminded us all of the vast dystopia that’s showcased inThe Last of UsandThe Last of Us Part 2.LaTrickster2994 then gave it that familiar apocalyptic vibe simply by adding the wordsThe Last of Us Part 2onto the image.

Yesterday we got an ‘Inside the Story’look video from Naughty Dog that focused somewhat on Ellie and Joel’s story to prepare us for the game’s release. Although nothing really new was talked about or any new footage revealed, we did see Neil Druckmann, Anthony Newman, and Halley Gross talk a little about the project behind the game. Hopefully, we will get to see something that hasn’t been talked about previously and maybe some new insight on more videos that Naughty Dog plans to release in the upcoming weeks. If a little bit of video analysis is your thing, you can check out ‘The Last of Us Part 2: The 3 Most Important New Details From the Story Trailer’articlewhere I shone some light onto some new and important features we may not have seen before in other trailers.

Whatever the full context inThe Last of Us Part 2surrounds, I can’t wait to explore it further. Even withthe spoilers circling the internet, nothing can stop this game from happening nor the excitement that it induces in its fans. On social media last week, Naughty Dogreleased a statementregarding the leaks and told fans that the end result will still be worth it. “We know the last few days have been incredibly difficult for you. We feel the same. It’s disappointing to see the release and sharing of pre-release footage from development,” said Naughty Dog’s message. “Do your best to avoid spoilers and we ask that you don’t spoil it for others.” The game’s director, Neil Druckmann, also put his two cents in whilst being obviously upset by the situation, and explained that he is “Heartbroken for the team. Heartbroken for our fans.” However, he left things on an optimistic note that “we’re still incredibly excited to get the game into your hands.”

As with any game, please do be respectful and mindful of those who wish to not be spoiled bygame leaks. No matter what your opinion is on why they were leaked in the first place, years of hard work from the devs and years of patiently waiting by players is paramount right now. Don’t bethatperson.

As hard as it’s going to be for fans over the next few weeks to avoid spoilers, just remember we don’t have much longer to wait forThe Last of Us Part 2as we now have anew official release date on the calendar. The game will arrive exclusively on PS4 later this summer on August 14, 2025.
