The hate train forSakamoto Days‘ animation is going out of control, and it’s also getting old now. The animation is hardly the worst out there, as we have all seen worse in other shows, even in the Big 3! In fact, it has a pretty solid animation so far and it’s only proving to be a great series. Here’s why.

If you could go through some ofDragon BallandNaruto’smost cringeworthy episodes, without throwing up, then maybe it’s time to giveSakamoto Daysa break. It’s time to reassess our priorities and ask ourselves if we are really being fair to this show, or are we just jumping on the hate fest?
Sakamoto Daysso far has a pretty solid animation quality, and there’s nothing to complain about!
As the latest episode ofSakamoto Daysjust dropped, we got to witness the epic Boiled vs Sakamoto fight animated for the first time! And it was pure perfection, to say the least. The raw impact of each punch, kick, and slash was felt through the animation; all expertly choreographed to keep us on the edge of our seats.
This is genuinely fine lolModern anime fans wouldn’t survive what the average Shonen episode looked like in the 2000shttps://t.co/p6gbPV3aA3

While it’s true thatSakamoto Daysmight not be in the same league as some other powerhouse studios like Ufotable or MAPPA, that doesn’t mean it isn’t bringing its own unique flavor to the table.
Sakamoto Days Episode 4 Review – The Butterfly Effect of Petty Teenage Angst
The pastel-like color palette, for instance, gives the anime a refreshing touch to its unique art style, so there’s not a single complaint to be had! Each episode is filled with raw animation without the use of much CGI, this alonemakes the adaptation all the more special.
Fans shouldn’t forget what the early days ofNarutomade us go through!
It’s easily way better than what we got from thoseNarutodays, when “consistent animation” was just a myth. The OG weebs should know the pain of going through episode after episode with less than mediocre animation, just to get one epic fight scene. Rather than that,Sakamoto Days’consistency should be appreciated enough.
So,it is now time for the viewers to grow upand recognize that an actual good series is so much more than just flashy animation and a predictable plot.Sakamoto Daysis constantly bringing its fresh take on action, mixed with an overwhelming amount of pure comedy to the table and we should be grateful for that.

A masterpiece is born as such, it’s not the animation that determines it!
The real worth of any anime does not solely come from how well-animated it is, but by how faithful the adaptation is and how good the source material is actually.
There is no doubt that animation has evolved throughout the past decade, and modern adaptations such asDragon Ball DAIMAandDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaibacertainly show the world what animation is capable of. However, at the same time, DAIMA also proves that even the most impressive animation cannot carry a series on its own.

We Are Yet to See the Strongest Character in Sakamoto Days: Taro Sakamoto vs Takamura, Who Wins?
Sakamoto Days, on the other hand, has a narrative that is simply incredible, with a perfect mix of action and comedy. The animation is not on par with some of the more high-profile shows out there, but it’s more than enough to support the story. With more episodes on the horizon, one can only hope the animation will continue to deliver, or even surpass our expectations!
Sakamoto Daysis available to watch onNetflix.
