Three years after it was released exclusively on Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store,The Division 2is officially coming to Steam next month. The officialSteam pagefor the looter-shooter is now live, confirming the release date to be June 30, 2025.
Ubisoft has recently begun releasing its games on Steam after a four-year hiatus, asAssassins Creed Valhallaand Anno 1800 already landed on the platform earlier this month. In case you missed out, the publisher’s plans to bring its games to multiple platforms will continue with the open-world hacking thrillerWatch Dogs Legion, which will be available on August 04, 2025. The Tom Clancy looter-shooter, The Division 2, will be joining the platform just a few weeks prior and will be the next major Ubisoft title to be joining Steam.

Ubisoft had an agreement with Epic Games Store back in 2019 that let its games release exclusively on the platform instead of the Steam store. At the end of November, the company announced a lineup of three games would return to Steam before the new year, revealing that the blockbuster Assasins Creed Valhalla would be available on December 6. After that, it was been announced RTS city-builder Anno 1800 would be returning to Steam on December 8.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an RPG shooter game that offers a variety of challenges, missions, and progression systems to create an enthralling co-op experience. Players can take on missions in campaign mode, as they can also complete these missions with their friends in online play. The Division 2 also features Skirmish and Domination modes that allow players to show their combat prowess in classic Team Deathmatch and capture locations of the map to claim dominance against the opponents.
According to the game’s Steam page, players who purchase the ultimate edition will receive The Warlords of New York expansion, 8 exclusive missions, The Elite Agent Pack, plus an exclusive emote and sticker at launch. The Division 2 is due to release for Steam on July 01, 2025.
