TBATE Chapter 139 Recap
The chapter starts with Claire narrating the return of Arthur and Sylvie. She says that both Sylvie and Arthur looked terrifying, and her only regret was not being able to see Lucas’s expressions at the end after being defeated. Lucas is quite confident in himself and thinks that he can easily defeat Arthur with the unlimited pool of mana he obtained from Draneeve’s elixir. But suddenly, he feels like his internal organs are grabbed by an icy claw. Lucas starts to demean Arthur and Sylvie, but they ignore him. Arthur checks on Tessia and takes a sigh of relief after finding out that she is fine.
Lucas continues to humiliate Arthur, but he still ignores him. Lucas isn’t able to understand why he is getting a sense of fear, and feeling like a demon is twisting his internal organs. Finally, Arthur speaks and tells Lucas that he considers him nothing more than a bee. And if a bee continues to show its sting, even a saint would smack it.
Suddenly the feeling of getting clawed by a demon gets even stronger, and Lucas isn’t able to understand how Arthur can be stronger than him. As Lucas screams in anger, he wonders how many demons and people Arthur has defeated to get such a strong bloodlust.

Arthur asks about Draneeve, to which he replies that he has taken Elijah along with him and says that Draneeve will definitely defeat you. Arthur tells Lucas that he doesn’t want a person like him to be born again, so he crushes his genitals at the end.
