The mother of one of her contestants looked exactly like her, with many even referring to her as the singer’s sister. The situation was so disconcerting, that Perry ended up having quite a hilarious reaction.

Katy Perry’s Reaction Was Priceless
Katy Perry has quite unique features, being well-recognized for her iconic blue eyes. Her contestant, Dawson Slade’s mother shared this feature, even having the same hair color and face structure as the artist. Perry became so shocked when her doppelgänger walked through the door, that she yelled out in disbelief.
“She’s the first. She’s the prototype.”said Perry.
The artist even referred to her as the ‘prototype’ of her, considering Slade’s mother would be older than the singer. Her co-hosts, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, were also surprised at the resemblance that they asked if the woman was Perry’s sister, or related to her in some way.

They even took pictures together, and indeed, the two look like they would be related in some way. Celebrity doppelgängers seem to surprise everyone to date, even though it is one of the biggest parts of Hollywood.
