TotK - Yansamin Shrine Location on Map

Such is the case with theYansamin Shrine, which presents a sizable challengeboth outside and inside of it. You will be completely lost in trying to solve this Shrine if you don’t know what you’re supposed to do to get there, and that can prove to be a massive headache.

Yansamin Shrine Location

Yansamin Shrine can be found up above among the Sky Islands, and it can be found at the coordinates:2349, -1782, 1475.

However, you’re able to’t just go to these coordinates and expect to see the Shrine sitting atop one of the floating islands, waiting for you. Instead, if you go to these coordinates, you might be able to see a waterfall stretching down from even higher. You want to reach the top of this waterfall. The only issue is thatthe waterfall doesn’t reach the groundand there aren’t any Sky Islands or structures nearby to glide to it.

TotK - Link Gliding Towards Sky Waterfall

Sure, you could build agravity-defying Ultrahand-fused vehicle, but there’s a simpler way to get there.

How To Reach Yansamin Shrine

To start things off, you’ll want access to three things to reach Yansamin Shrine:

There are a lot of different ways that you can reach this waterfall, but the best way to do it is to go to theJosiu Shrine, which sits atop another Sky Island nearby. Near this Shrine, there is a catapultthat you can turn with the nearby crank. Use the crank to turn the catapult to the southeast so that it’s aiming towards the waterfall in the distance.

TotK - Floating Platform

Now, you wait for it to launch you into the air, and when you reach your apex, whip out your Paragliderand begin sailing. You need to have at leasttwo full wheels of Stamina available(whether byupgrading your Stamina Vesselor devouring deliciousStamina-refueling foods) in order to reach the Waterfall safely.

It’ll take about4-5 gusts from Tulin.

Eventually, you will reach the waterfall, and then you canequip the Zora’s Armorto swim up it. This will bring you to a new Sky Island, where you will see another, very tall one in front of you.

You will also see a floating platform with some rockets next to it. Use Ultrahand to attach these rockets, so they arefacing diagonally upwards, heading toward the tall Sky Island. Activate them, and the platform will take you up high enough to where you can glide down to the lowest platform on the tall island.

TotK - Link Fighting A Construct

Here, you will see a pedestal that you may interact with toturn on all the fanssurrounding the island. You can now use these to glide up all the way around the middle section until you get to the top.

At the top, you will find a hole you can drop into, but be careful:the hole is filled with lasersthat you will have to avoid as you make your way down.

At the bottom, you will finally find the Shrine.

How To Complete The Yansamin Shrine

The Yansamin Shrine is a Proving Ground Shrine, which means it will strip you of all your equipment and pit you against abatch of enemiesthat you have to take out in order to complete the Shrine. However, this one is different becausethere is low gravity.

In front of you, you will find a Wooden Pole, Wooden Stick, and a Wooden Shield to start you off. Grab these and head into the room. To your left will be some platforms you’re able to jump to using your new low gravity abilities, and you can find a couplerockets.Fuse one to your shieldand use it to propel yourself to the top of the room. Land on the top most platform andbegin working your way downeach platform, taking out the Constructs as you do.

For the platforms with multiple Constructs, just keep moving and be careful about when you take a swing.

None of the enemies are particularly strong, so they’ll go down pretty easily. Be sure to pick up their weapons when they do, as they are much better than what the Shrine gives you initially. Also, try tofuseany of their parts to your weapons as you go, as this will greatlyincrease their durability and effectiveness.

In time, theroom will be clear, and the Shrine will be complete.
