There are several places where you are able to find this item in the wild while making your way through the game andone of its many quests.
If you don’t feel like farming this plant in the wild, you’re able to always simply purchase it for the cost of 20 rupees. If you happen to have a surplus and wish to sell some, you will receive a compensation of 5 rupees per Mighty Thistle sold. Other uses for Mighty Thistle outside of recipes are to make Orange Dye and as part of the game’sfusion mechanic. There are a lot of different resources in the game and each of them havedifferent waysto be obtained. Mighty Thistles are a resource that you will need to venture into various locations to pick some of them up. There areno enemies that drop themafter being defeated. These spawn in very sparse amounts in various places. Luckily, there isone spot in particularwhere you can farm a bunch all at once, making it the onlyideal locationin the game.
Near Lakeside Stable
You will be able to find one sole solitaryMighty Thistle near the Lakeside Stable. This might seem not worth it, but when you are trying to get as many as you may, you make do with what you can get. Follow the road west to Floria River will be another sole Mighty Thistle between the road and the shoreline.This area has a total of 2 and no more.

Near Koto Pond
This location is nestled between the Meda Mountains and Mount Taran. It is to thesoutheast of Koto Pond. Here, you will be able to pick up some Mighty Thistle if you happen to be in the area, but it is not a lot.There are only a total of 3,making it not much better than the first entry. You will find them along the ridge line.

Best Farming Spots
By far, one of the best farming spots for Mighty Thistle is over atPiper Ridge. you’re able to find this location South of Nero Hill. Here, you will be able to bag11 Mighty Thistle per visit, and they are all close to each other on the plateau.

On their own, they can be made into Roasted Mighty Thistle. This willrestore half a heart.
As A Recipe Ingredient
Using a mighty Thistle as a recipe component can give the end result the"Mighty"prefix, this willincrease your attack. It will alsoextend the durationof the recipe’s effects by a duration of50 seconds.
Optimized Usage
For the maximum benefit of this item, cook a recipe that uses any one meat, any one mushroom, and a Mighty Thistle to receive a buff to yourattack damage for 50 seconds. The more Mighty Thistles you add after that, the longer the duration of the attack buff. This canreach an effective duration of 4 minutes and 10 seconds.
