To begin your journey towards unlocking theAutobuild ability, it is essential to first obtain theParaglider. To obtain theParaglider, speak withJosah and Purah at Lookout Landingto acquire the “Crisis at Hyrule Castle” main quest. You will need to complete this quest to obtain the Paraglider.

Obtaining The Paraglider

The Crisis at Hyrule Castle will require you to visitnorth of Hyrule Castle. Upon reaching the castle, you will notice that the castle gate is locked, but you can take the ledge to the left of the door to circumnavigate your way around the Castle gate.

As you reach thequest marker, you’ll come across a guard who will ask you totake permission from the captainto progress through the castle.

Follow the quest marker again to reach an open area with alocked gate and tents. From here, scale the castle wall to reach the top of the structure and locate the Castle’s captain. Interacting with the captain will cause your current quest to change, and you will need to return toPurahat Lookout Landing.

Speak withPurahandJosahto gain some important information on Lookout Landing. Next, visit the nearbySkyview Towerto once again speak with Purah and interact with the Skyview Tower terminal. After you interact with the Skyview Tower terminal, anothercutscenewill take place, and Purah will give you theParagliderandinstructionson using the Skyview Tower.

Acquiring The Camera Ability

While it may not be necessary to acquire the Camera ability to find and unlock the Autobuild, you may still want to consider unlocking the Camera as you will be traveling through theHyrule Field Chasmin search of Autobuild as well.

To acquire theCamera ability, you will need to glide down into the depths ofHyrule Field Chasmand speak with an NPC. The NPC will provide you with the camera and ask you to take a picture of astatue. Here’s a fullstep-by-step guideon acquiring the Camera ability.

Acquiring The Autobuild Ability

To acquire the Autobuild, continue past the statue you photographed nearIayusus Lightrootand follow the trail of similar statues for quite some time. It is advisable to tame a nearby horse to make the journey easier.

Since the depths can be very dark, you will have to rely onlightbloom seedsto illuminate the path ahead.

Great Abandoned Central Mine - Steward Construct Location in Tears of the Kingdom

As you follow the statue trail, activate theNihcayam Lightrootwhen you come across it. You will eventually reach a point where you may no longer follow the statue trail on horseback. Get off the horse and glide your way to the statue, reaching theGreat Abandoned Central Mine.

Refer to the map above to reach the exact location in theGreat Abandoned Central Mineand find theSteward Construct. Interacting with the Steward Construct will unlock theAutobuild ability.

With the Autobuild ability unlocked, you will be presented with theAutobuild tutorial. It is recommended to save your game before interacting with the Steward Construct, as you will enter aboss battleright after completing the tutorial.
