Known majorly for creating Chainsaw Man, Fujimoto shocked the entire manga community when he releasedLook Backin 2021. The story was so intriguing that Studio Durian decided to adapt it into an anime film that was released in June 2024. And as expected, the anime film was also appreciated a lot by the fans and the industry.

Tatsuki Fujimoto is one of the very few anime creators who have been eligible for an Oscar nomination. It looks like he might be following in the steps of Hayao Miyazaki, the legendary Japanese anime filmmaker who has won not one but two Academy awards for his work.
