The director was quick to deviate from the answer that the series is trying to establish itself as something new rather than replicate the past. He stated that fans want original characters to come back and be as iconic as they were inSuits, something he expected and is not surprised by.
Not trying to replace our beloved originals. Just a new crew working in a different city handling different kinds of cases. It seems like people are all wishing it was the originals back. I expected this and can’t blame them. I can only hope they give Suits LA an open-minded try. If they do, I really believe they will grow to love it.
However, he seemed to have requested fans to keep an open mind when they began watching the series, stating that the show would be just as special for them if they allowed it to be.
