Upon arriving in Antvillage, Chapter 9 inStray, you might have noticed some colorful plants scattered throughout the area. These are the subject of a side quest given by the robotMalo. However, near the beginning of this area, B-12 has a memory malfunction and you’ll need to first discover the Robot namedZbaltazarin order for you to obtain the plants.
This quest involves retrieving three different colored plants: Red, Purple, and Yellow then bringing them back to Malo. Completion of this quest will reward you with thePlant Badge. You’ll need to do some simple platforming in order to obtain each of these plants. Follow this guide to find each one.
How To Get Red Plant
TheRed Plantis located on the lowest level on a tree atop what appears to be trash. From the entrance, head across the bridge, take a left and go up a level.
From there you should see two robots playingMahjong. There’s also an achievement here calledCat-a-strophewhich involves interrupting their game. Behind them is a bucket attached to a pulley that you can take to the lower level. Once you are down there, jump across the barrels and grab theRed Plantnear the two robots sifting through trash.
How To Get Purple Plant
ThePurple Plantis located on the same level as the robots playing Mahjong. Just beyond them are two robots sitting on a bunk bed. To the left is atree branchsticking out of the building. Jump on the tree and grab thePurple Plantat the end of the branch.
How To Get Yellow Plant
TheYellow Plantlocation is a bit more hidden than the others. It’s located on an upper level, the same level asZbaltazar. Continue past them and past the robots at the bar. You’ll see some foliage hugging the building on a pipe slightly lower than the level that you are on. Hop down to it and that is where you can grab theYellow Plant.
Head back up to Malo to give them all 3 plants and they will reward you with thePlant Badgecollectible which will be affixed to your jacket along with any other badge you’ve collected.
