While being in the homeland of a Faction that you don’t know too well and vice versa, you must become part of House Va’ruun before you start running around helping its people (or causing more chaos, depending on what you like).
As part of your induction into the Faction, you can earn a permanent title depending on certain choices you make. If you want to earn the Diviner Promised title in particular, we’ve got you covered.

How to Earn the Diviner Promised Title in the Shattered Space DLC
Before you start the long ritual needed to officially join House Va’ruun, you must reach the planet Va’ruun’kai. All you need to do is finish the firstStarfieldquest, “One Small Step,” andfollow the steps we’ve listed in this starting guideto get to the city of Dazra.
Continue doing the main quest. You want to start “The Promised, Unbroken,” which will have you doing several actions as part of the ritual that all members of House Va’ruun undergo to pledge their allegiance to the Great Serpent.
Inaza Kaisir, the Herald of the Serpent, will guide you through the whole ritual. You’ll need to complete certain actions, like blowing a candle, burning an item, and meditating in corrosive water.

Finally, you’ll reach a big room with a path that has several altars and effigies, each marked differently. Depending on the title you want, you must place certain effigies on the two marked altars.
To obtain the Diviner Promised Title, you must place the Perseverance and Devotion effigies on the altar. After that, the title of Diviner Promised is granted to you from Inaza.

As we learned from variousShattered SpaceDLC teasers, a great tragedy has recently struck the planet, and it’s up to us to help its people and decide the fate of this once-great House.
“The Promised, Unbroken,” is about walking the same path the Great Serpent did to prove your loyalty and determination before you may become part of the Faction and help its people.

Starfield Shattered Space: How To Earn The Vindicator Promised Title
There aren’t really any known benefits or disadvantages to having one of the different titles that Inaza grants you. You can pretty much just pick which one to take based on what sounds the best to you, as it only affects how people in theStarfieldDLC will refer to you.
The other possible titles you can acquire are:
After being named the Diviner Promised, you’re able to continue the quest until you talk to Ekris. This will trigger the next quest in the main DLC storyline, “Aligning the Houses.”
You’re now free to do whatever you’d like in Va’ruun’kai, whether that’s to immediately help its people or to leave it with more chaos and destruction than it already faced.
