7Va’Ruun’s Heretic Writings
While less valuable than other contraband on this list,Va’ruun’s Heretic Writingsis a random contraband you canfind in contraband caches in Amalgest Casino and in the cache behind the Jackpot Backend terminal.

Black Market Antiques are illegal items, classified as contraband in Starfield. While there isn’t much known about these items, one thing is certainly known about them — they provide good credits!
This contrabandweights 3.5 in mass with a selling price of 11,260 credits. This price isn’t set in stone, but it is very valuable regardless.

Mech Components are anothervaluable contraband that you can find during your odyssey across the Settled Systems. Stolen Artwork are also classified as contrabands, and while the game doesn’t tell you much about these items,it could possibly be rare artworks that humans once created, before parting ways withEarth.
Whatever the case may be, Stolen Artworks are not legal to be carrying around, andthey’ll get confiscated upon security checks, just like any other contraband. With amass of 3, these artworks carry a selling value of 15,600 credits.

1Xenowarfare Tech
During the Colony War, the UC unleashed xenowarfare weapons, includingTerrormorphs, changing the course of civilization across the Settled Systems.With the establishment of the Armistice, xenowarfare was banned, you can still find their remnants during your adventures.
If you’re caught carrying xenowarfare tech, you’ll be penalized for having contraband on you. Xenowarfare techweigh 2.5 in mass and have a selling price of 16,110 credits.
