Starfield’s massive galaxy has a few major factions that players are able to join. Joining a faction may give the player a special status within certain systems while also an interesting quest line to complete. While joining factions isn’t necessary to begin the game beyond the main storyline, these other factions still offer unique and interesting stories to experience.

In pervious Bethesda games, many major factions tend to be at odds and even war with each other, making players pick a side and locking out the content for the other side for the remainder of the playthrough. With that being a norm in the past, many players are wondering if the same is the case for Starfield.
Can You Join Every Faction
Players are able tojoin any and every faction in a single playthrough without any factions being locked outdue to choices with another. Players are givencomplete freedom to join a faction whenever they wantand join other factions no matter how complete another faction’s questline is. There is one exception when it comes tojoining the Crimson Fleet, ascompleting their storyline or Sysdef’s will lock the player out from the other side.
For the most part,many of the factions exist side by side and aren’t at oddsor war with one another. While in the lore of Starfield, there have been wars, and some factions were once enemies, the main faction storiesfocus more on the internal issues of the factioninstead of their hostility towards another group.

Every Faction In Starfield
