Inspired by the iconic farming sim, one YouTuber took to recreatingStardew Valley’s Pelican Town inMinecraftsurvival mode.
Stardew Valleyis one of the greatest farming sims out there, and what better way to pay tribute than to recreate its familiar locations in another game?YouTuber Unsurpassable Z- or Zach Hartman - took to combining the two in hisMinecraftcommunity server, where he and his father crafted aMinecraftversion of Pelican Town.

MINECRAFTPELICAN TOWN
In their video, Hartman and his father explore the sharedMinecraftserver where they completed their version of Pelican Town. Working in Survival mode for their 1:1 scale recreation, the overall project has taken roughly nine months. Though, the two are still adding some final touches, like filled bottles to mimic Gus’s full shelves in the Saloon.

Minecraft Stardew Valley Recreation
From the Stardrop Saloon to Pierre’s General StoreStardew Valley’s buildings keep to the rustic, yet modern style. And, in true video game fashion, the buildings are bigger on the inside than they appear on the outside. This led to some interesting design challenges when it came to Hartman’s 1:1 recreation of Pelican Town.
Their clever solution? Build the interior of the town’s homes and shops underground. This way, the overall outside map of theirMinecraftPelican Town stays exactly likeStardew’s, but still includes all the charming and familiar rooms from the game.
Looking at the rest of the server, they’ve also recreated the forested areas surrounding Pelican Town, the beachside cliffs, the Wizard’s tower, and the entrance to Krobus’s sewer. To see an earlier look for Hartman’s project, you can look tothis stream on his YouTube channel.
