The exact date of Luminalia is December 22, but the in-game event does begin a bit early to allow all citizens to earn more rewards.

The Luminalia event is already live on Star Citizen, and it will be available on December 22. While you’re able to gather with your friends and hang out somewhere in Stanton, CIG also has some simple but refreshingmissionsfor you to earn some in-game money and receive a bunch of valuable rewards.

How To Get Luminalia Rewards
There are a total of12 rewardsavailable at the Luminalia event, and you can get one every day until the end of the event. This part has nothing to do with in-game stuff. All you need to do ispay a visit toLuminalia’s webpage, log in to your Star Citizen account, and claim your daily rewards. Every player will receive a random reward based on their luck, includingshippaints.
How To Get Luminalia In-Game Missions
Aside from the rewards above,a new type of Delivery missionhas been added to Star Citizen that revolves around picking up Luminalia presents from landing zones and delivering them to their destinations. You can find these missions through your MobiGlass in thePersonal tab, under theDelivery category.
Each delivery mission pays8,500aUEC, but if you search for the containers scattered in the landing zones where you pick up or deliver the presents,you might also find some Luminalia collectibles, though the drop rate seems to be low at the moment, which means you should do more than a few of these deliveries to find some surprising collectibles.
The overall process of the mission is similar to normal deliveries, as you need to place presents in the Drop Kiosks at the destination to get the mission done. Keep in mind that you might face a bug during this delivery mission type where the destination of some present is not marked for you. At this point, you can open your MobiGlass, head to the Accepted contracts, and check for the destination of each present.
