Spy X FamilyEpisode 18 is titled “Uncle the Private Tutor/Daybreak” and is scheduled for a release onSaturday, November 5th 2022. While fans in select regions of Asia can enjoy the new episode onNetflix, other worldwide fans can watch it onCrunchyroll. Anya seems pretty serious about helping Loid in achieving his missions. Despite not liking Damian personally, she is trying hard to create a friendly bond with her, but all her attempts seem to go in vain. Meanwhile, Becky seems to have developed a crush on Loid. While all this is happening, Yor seems to be living in a completely different world, still learning to be a cooking expert. A small preview for the upcoming episode has also been released, not revealing much about the story but showing Yor preparing food and Anya, Bond, and Yuri taking a nap.
Spy X Family Episode 17 Recap
Anya is determined to become friends with Damian to help Loid, so she tries to show him her family photo, but Damian ignores it. Becky takes a look at the photo instead and starts asking questions about her father. It seems like she is impressed with Loid’s looks, so she decides to keep the photo.
Their art and craft class commences soon, and Anya and Damian are placed into the same group. While Becky creates a 3D figure of Loid, Anya makes a figure of her dog Bond, which doesn’t turn out too great. Damian, on the other hand, is making a griffin which is also included in their family crest. Anya reads his mind and figures out that Damian wants to impress his father, so she decides to help him to get closer to him.
Anya makes a jet engine for the griffin instead of hind legs, as told by Damian, but all her help to Damian counts for nothing. After class, Anya apologizes to him for being useless and gives him the modified version of Bond, which she reconstructed into a female griffin. Surprisingly, Damian’s craft wins the first prize despite looking bad. Anya says that now he can show the griffin to his father, but Damian refuses.
The scene then cuts to Sylvia Sherwood, also known as the “Fullmetal Lady,” a handler for the WISE. A few people are following her, but as Sylvia knows she’s being followed, she shows them her normal routine. She then changes her looks and goes to meet Twilight to take updates on Operation Strix, and the latter tells her about Anya’s achievements. At the end of the episode, we see Yor, who’s cooking omelette rice for Yuri, which doesn’t look overly appealing.
