SEGA has another hit in their hands, asSonic X Shadow Generationsis now a multi-million seller, joining the ranks of Metaphor ReFantazio as one of the publisher’s games released in 2024 that moved a ton of units.
This was revealed in SEGA’s latest quarterly earnings report (viaVGC) where it announced that Sonic X Shadow Generations has now hit two million units sold.
Sonic Continues To Rake In The Dough For SEGA
While Sonic X Shadow Generations has a long way to go before it catches up to the best-selling 3D Sonic game, Sonic Frontiers, which is at 3.5 million units sold, it’s still an impressive feat, especially considering Sonic X Shadow Generations is a remake of the 2011 platformer.
Atlus’Metaphor ReFantaziohas alreadypassed one million units sold in its first dayof availability, though SEGA hasn’t provided a sales update for the RPG.
