According to theSonic Paradiseaccount on X, the official website for the upcoming Sonic Racing title briefly displayed the game’s entire character roster.

Twenty-two characters are to be included in the game, making it the largest of any Sonic Racing title.
What Characters Are In Sonic Racing CrossWorlds?
The current reported list of playable characters is:
Sonic,Knuckles,Tails, andAmy, the series staples. We also haveJet,Wave, andStorm(best known for their role in theSonic Ridersgames), andZavokandZazzof the Deadly Six. We’ve got Team Dark withShadow,Rouge, andE-123Omega, plusEggmanand two more of his creations:Egg PawnandMetal Sonic.
The Chaotix are also here withVector,Charmy, andEspio.Blaze,Silver,Cream, andBiground out the roster for a total of twenty-two characters.
This makes it the largest starting roster of any Sonic Racing game, withmore to be addedafter launch.SEGAhas pointed out that they’ll include characters from outside the sonic universe this way.
SEGA has no shortage of other franchises to pick from, making this little tidbit of information absolutely ripe for speculation. But at this early stage of development, it’s possible that even the developers don’t know who’ll be included post-launch.
