Helldivers 2keeps getting good vibes within the industry. The first-ever launch on PC and PS5 at the same time was an extraordinary success for Sony and Arrowhead Game Studios. This title sold 1,000,000 units in just 4 days and is one of the games with the most concurrent players on Steam right now, surpassing games like Palworld andDota 2. It’s also since been announced to have sold over 3 million units, with no signs of slowing down.
Not only players are happy with this game, but personalities in the videogame industry are also praising it, like Thomas Puha from Remedy Games, the creators ofAlan Wake 2.

After a rough couple of weeks, Arrowhead Game Studios was finally able to solve a very annoying problem that was makingHelldivers 2impossible to play. The success of the game was so great that the servers were full and players could not enter the game.

In these few days, the CEO of the studio, Johan Pilestedt, has confirmed that the capacity of the server is now 800,000, and he reported that this weekend there was no problem with players entering the games.
Pilestedt has also talked about how, now that the server issue is solved, the team can get back to the original plan to keep working on new content forHelldivers 2. Players are asking for things like vehicles, mechas, power suits, and many more new weapons to be added to the game.
