Skull and Bones received a new showcase during today’s Ubisoft Forward as we are getting closer to its November 8 release date.

The new trailer was a cinematic introduction to world of Skull and Bones, reminding players of the all the risks and dangers ahead. We also got a brief look at the different ship customization options in the case of weaponizing them.

Skull and Bones was originally revealed back in 2017, but the game went under multiple changes in direction which lengthened the development process. However, it is now ready to launch later this year, and today’s showcase from the game reassured fans that there would be no more delays.

As you make progress in the game and earn more experience, you get to build your own ship and customize it. As the developer claims, every ship plays uniquely, and you will be able to find your style thanks to the many customization options available in the game.

Aside from building ships and going to hunt treasures, the game’s multiplayer side will also open up many new opportunities for you. Players will be able to fight with each other, steal cargos, or even loot a player’s sunken ship. In addition to PvP battles, you will find some hostile AI-controlled factions in the game as well, who will make you even more troubles if you draw their attention.

Exploration plays a big role in Skull and Bones as there are many resources to gather and many activities in the game. Aside from all the ship-related tasks, you’re able to also do some on-foot missions such as looking for treasures based on maps or hunting sea animals for their skins.

While Skull and Bones was originally announced for last-gen consoles, it will skip PS4 and Xbox One to launch on new consoles and PC.
