The Mystery of Tsunade’s Senju Bloodline
Tsunade’s character was introduced in the search for Tsunade arc, where she is portrayed as a gambler and a drunkard who has no care of the world. However, she is soon persuaded byNarutoand her fellow Sannin Jiraiya to take on the mantle of the fifth Hokage and lead the Konoha village.

WhenNarutoended, fans started to believe that maybe Hashirama’s Kekkei Genkai maybe an exception as it was not passed down to his family. However, when Moegi’s character was introduced inBoruto, this mystery became even more confusing as she was able to use the wood style jujutsu to some extent.
Moegi’s background has not been perfectly established byMasashi KishimotoinNaruto.She has only been seen with Konohamaru inNarutoand as a mentor inBoruto.
This is why everyone believes that she is a normal civilian shinobi just like Sakura because if she had been a Senju descendent, it would have been mentioned in the series. Thus, her ability to usethe wood style jutsushocked theNarutofans.
