Chapter 1134 ofOne Piece,titled Owl Library, had its summary shared on the internet, where it finallyconfirmed having 2 Shanks. Following the confirmation, Pew (@pewpiece) shared another theory fromRedditon their social media feed that followed another intriguing theory following the character.
The theory stated how Shanks was found in a treasure chest on God Valley, where the legendary battle where Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp teamed up to stop Rocks D. Xebec and his crew, who dreamt of killing the Celestial Dragons and ruling the world.

They felt that there was a high possibility that“Shanks is in fact celestial dragon born,”with a hypothesis of having a twin brother being a part of the holy knights.
This theory seems to be true because his scar was not shown during his first meeting with the Gorosei, where he warned them about a specific pirate. With the current events, it is believed that the pirate is indeed Akagami, and his brother has been monitoring him from afar.
To add truth to their theory, they explained how the Five Elders would treat him like any other Emperor of the Sea and referred to him as another individual present out there. To further reinforce their theory, they explained that till the current events of the series, the Elders saw Shanks as someone who could“potentially be a huge threat but seemingly has no intentions for it.”
