Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege has just launched its holiday event, featuringa new gamemode on a revamped map, and of course,a whole new suite of rewards.
Freeze For All Permafrost is live for a bit under a month, leaving the game on January 6thof next year. Until then, you’ll find yourself in a reworked version of last year’s holiday festivities.

The headline gamemode here is an 8 player free-for-all, where you may score bonus points by grabbing “Frozen Souls”, dropped by enemies on death.
Rainbow Six Siege: Every Map, Ranked
Breach, rush, plant!
Unlike last year’s event, you’ve got an unlimited supply of respawns, letting players be far more aggressive in combat. First to 40 points wins - or, if the game reaches its eight-minute time limit, the player with the highest score wins.
The Arctic Workshop serves as the special map for this event - it’san overhauled version of Hereford Base, given a new facelift for the holidays.

But we’re all here for rewards, and the holiday season’s got more than a few of those in store. Typical for live-service games, you’ll get rewards just by logging in during the event - in this case, a free cosmetic collection pack.
Weekly challenges can get you an enhanced Variant bundle for Frost, and you can get another bundle for Grim through Twitch drops.

Why Sens Is the Worst Attacker in Rainbow Six Siege Since Blackbeard
Sens and their holographic wall just aren’t powerful enough to dictate themselves to your strategies.
If you’re willing to get a little premium, the Freeze For All Permafrost collection will get you bundles for seven different operators. Mika, Finka, and Thermite get new bundles, while Thorn, Ash, Vigil, and Dokkaebi get enchanced Variants bundles.

The collection also gets - you guessed it - skins, skins, and more skins. A drone skin, a universal weapon skin, an animated weapon skin, and more.
Freeze For All - A Chill Event For Rainbow Six Siege
Full information on all the goodies can be found on Ubisoft’s website, with anupdate postand ablog postgiving you all the intel you’d need.
But, if this isn’t your first rodeo, the offerings here are fairly intuitive for a holiday event. you’re able to jump in feet first and get a pretty good idea of things - the game mode is a familiar twist on a free for all experience, and we all know what skins are by now.

Rainbow Six Siege: 10 Best Shotguns, Ranked
Rainbow Six Siege has many shotguns, but not all of them are capable enough to help you get rid of opponents with a single shot.
All things considered, the Freeze For All Permafost event is remarkably chill. Breach and clear - get what you need, and rest easy. More events areundoubtedly on the way.
There’s even been speculation abouta whole new Rainbow Six game- but we’ll have to wait until 2025 for anything to materialize there.
