However, there are somerarer itemsthat you can’t find just anywhere. You’ll need to purchase them from either a store or theAuction House. The only issue is that you don’t automatically have access to the Auction House. You need to follow a particular set of steps if you want to be able to buy items from there.
How To Unlock The Auction House
In order to unlock the Auction House, you first need todefeat Kofu, the Water-Type Gym Leader. He can be found in the city ofCascarrafa. Remember, Water types are extremely weak to Electric types and Grass types. So, verify you are ready to battle him.
As soon as you interact with Kofu, he will take off towardPorto Marinada. This is where the Auction House is located. You’ll need to follow him there.Once there, he will ask you to bid on an auction for him. This serves as your introduction to the Auction House. After completing this task for him, you have to return to the Water-type Gym and face Kofu in battle. Once the battle is over, you’re free to go back to Port Marinada and check out the auctions.

Using The Auction House
After the Auction House is unlocked, you may use it whenever you want. The Auction House refreshes every in-game morning. So, be sure to check frequently and purchase what you want when you have the chance. You never know when something rare may spawn in the Auction House.
Purchasing at the Auction House works precisely as you might expect. You will bid against NPCs to see who will pay the highest price for the item that is being sold.It is best to bid in small increments. You don’t overpay for something when someone else would’ve folded for less. Some things are worth more than others, so you want to be sure that the item you’re bidding on is one that you really want; otherwise, you may miss out on the opportunity to pay for another thing you needed.
