Where To Find Applin
Although Applin is from the Galarian region, it can also be found in theregion of Paldea in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.This Pokemon is an incredibly rare find, though, and might take a bit of searching to stumble across. In order to begin your search, you will need to make sure that yourMiraidon or Koraidon has the ability to dash.You can learn this ability by defeating theStony Cliff Titanearly on in the game.
The best location to look for Applin is in the area ofTagtree Thicket.This area is filled with trees, which is where you will most likely find Applins hiding.

Before you arrive in Tagtree Thicket, you will want toeat a meal that will increase your Dragon-type Encounter Power.A good option is atSeabreeze Cafe in Mesagoza.You can eat theSpicy Potatoesto give yourself this boost. It will make your search for Applin significantly easier.
To get to Tagtree Thicket, you canfly to the East Province (Area Three) Pokemon Center.When you arrive here, there will be adirt path to the west of the Pokemon Centerthat you can take into Tagtree Thicket. When you get inside, there should be a ton of trees surrounding the area. Applin can be hidden inside any of these trees, and in order to get them to come out, you will have to use your dash ability.

verify you are mounted on your Koraidon or Miraidon, andbegin dashing using the left stick. Then, you will want torun into any of the trees in the area.This willshake the treeenough to make an Applin fall down. If not, try hitting it again or move on to the next tree. You should be able to find one eventually – especially if you ate a meal with Dragon Encounter Power. These Applin will be aroundLevel 27 to 28, so they should be relatively easy to catch.

How To Evolve Applin Into Flapple
Once you find Applin out in the wild, you will be able to evolve it intotwo different forms. One of the two included isFlapple, which resembles a kind of lizard. In order to initiate this process, there is only one thing you need to do.
To start, you can make your way to any ofthe Delibird Presentslocated in Paldea.You can find one inLevincia, Cascarrafa, or Mesagoza. Once you get inside, the item needed will be under the ‘General Goods’ section.

You will then see aTart Applein the shop inventory, which you can use for evolving your Applin. It will cost you2,200 Poke Dollars or League Points.
When you buy the item, you can go into your bag and give it to your Applin. It will then immediately evolve into Flapple, regardless what level your Applin is at.
How To Evolve Applin Into Appletun
Your other option for Applin’s evolution isAppletun. This Pokemonlooks similar to an apple pieand a turtle at the same time, and can be evolved similarly to Flapple.
You will once again need to go to any of theDelibird Presents.Instead of buying the Tart Apple, you will want to buy theSweet Apple for 2,200 Poke Dollars. This will allow your Applin to evolve into Appletun rather than Flapple.
Give your Applin the Sweet Apple from your bag. Your Applin will then evolve into Appletun successfully. Regardless which apple you use, the Pokemon will still be aGrass/Dragon type, but they will have very different stats.
You can choose which one you prefer more based on your current team lineup.
