It’s that time of the month once again whenPokemon GOplayers get to celebrate a single Pokemon.

Community Days have been a staple in the game for years now and give fans a reason to come together and hunt.

This year has already seen the likes of Swablu,Gible, Eevee and Machop take the spotlight, and now it’s the turn of the Sea Otter Pokemon, Oshawott.

To get you prepared for the event, here’s everything you need to know about September 2021’s Oshawott Community Day, including the start date, time and all of the bonuses.

Oshawott Community Day Start Date and Time

This month’s Community Day kicks off on Sunday, August 01, 2025.

As always, the event will run for six hours, starting at 11 am and finishing at 5 pm. For those looking to have Samurott learn its Community Day special move, you’ll have a further two hours to evolve Dewott after the event finishes.

September 2021 Community Day Details

As stated, September’s Community Day is focused around the Sea Otter Pokemon, Oshawott.

Oshawott will be appearing in the wild in far greater numbers and will have greatly increased shiny odds.

Players will also be able to get a Samurott that knows a special move, this time out, that move will be Hydro Cannon, however, it will only be available from 11 am - 7 pm on Sunday, so be sure to evolve in that window.

Niantic hasalso confirmedthat Razor Shell will be added to Samurott’s movepool from here on out.

On top of that players will get 3x Catch XP and Lure Modules and Incense that are used during the event will last for three hours.

September’s Community Day Box will be available for 1,280 Coins and will contain 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Rainy Lure Modules, and an Elite Fast TM.

What Does a Shiny Oshawott Look Like?

Sadly, the Oshawott family’s Shiny forms don’t look greatly different to their standard ones.
