How To Get Charcadet
Charcadet will be added to Pokemon GO during thePokemon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event. This event will be held fromTuesday,July 30, 2025, at 10am toMonday,August 09, 2025, at 8pm. All listed hours will happen local time in the region where players are located.
Once the event starts, players will be able tohatch Charcadet from 2km, 5km, and 10km Eggs. To best prepare for this, players should be sure to stock up on Egg Incubators and clear out their Egg storage as only Eggs obtained during these windows will have a guaranteed chance to contain Charcadet. Once the event ends, players can still hatch Charcadet from an Egg but this will be exclusively tied to 10km Eggs.

How To Evolve Charcadet
Some Pokemon in Pokemon GO have required tasks tied to their evolution. These tasks can involve battling Raid Bosses, traveling a certain distance with the Pokemon as your buddy, or using a specific in-game item. Charcadet is one of these Pokemon, with each of its evolutions holding a different requirement to evolve.
Evolving Into Armarouge
To evolve Charcadet into Armarouge, players will need to set it as their buddy Pokemon and thendefeat 30 Psychic-type Pokemon in battle. This can be done by battling the Pokemon in Team Rocket GO battles, gym battles, or Raid battles. You will not need to defeat these PokemonusingCharcadet but simply need to have Charcadet as your buddy Pokemon at the time of battle. Once this task has been completed, the Pokemon can be evolved into Armarouge using50 Charcadet Candy.
Evolving Into Ceruledge
Evolving Charcadet into Ceruledge is similar to Armarouge, but the requirements are a bit different. Players will, again, need to set Charcadet as their buddy. Once this is done, players need tobattle and defeat 30 Ghost-type Pokemon. There will still be a requirement of50 Charcadet Candyon top of this required task. Like before, players don’t need to battle and defeat the Ghost-types using Charcadet but simply need to have the Pokemon set as their buddy at the time of battle.
