Gacha systems can either be a wonderful aspect to any mobile game, or a curse to those with terrible luck.Persona5: The Phantom Xgives you the opportunity to pull forpowerful thieves, but it will cost you 1,500 gems and perhaps some of your sanity too.

While the game is still in its infancy stage, there are multiple banners to choose from, each of which provides players with different odds. Different banners mean different characters with varying odds, while another gives you the opportunity to pull boosted weapons for specific thieves.

10 Best Gacha Games You Need To Play

Spin the wheel responsibly!

You can always bust out your wallet and shell out some real-life clams to purchase gems for pulls, but I’d advise against it.It enables gambling, which can be harmful to a younger audience, and you’re never guaranteed to pull anything good anyway.

Since the game doesn’t have an abundance of thieves either, your best bet is to play through the story, collect as many gems as you may, and pull on the banners available. Which one should you prioritize first? Well, you have come to the right place.

Which Persona5: The Phantom X Banner To Prioritize

Presently, there are four banners for players jumping intoPersona5: The Phantom Xand looking to make their party stronger. Two of the banners are set to expire after the game reaches its one-month anniversary, while another is a one-time pull.

Why is it important to prioritize one banner over the other? Simply put, it’s going to be a pain in your neck to accumulate tickets and gems to pull on banners in the first place, asPersona5: The Phantom Xcan be quite stingy with how they reward your progress.

Persona5: The Phantom X Frost Waltz special banner

However, you’re in luck. This guide will assist with how you should go about pulling on all four banners, and the order in which you should prioritize specific thieves and weapons.

Frozen Waltz (Special Banner)

Priority number one should be putting all your efforts intoacquiring Kotone Montagne, the ice-wielding thief. You’ll need to play through the story to earn the one ticket to pull her, but it’ll be well worth the time you invest in as her offense is potent, especially in the early game.

Unfortunately, the ability to freeze inPhantom Xhas been nerfed majorly. Instead of freezing an enemy, the Freeze status only decreases their ATK attribute. It’s still useful, but not as in the original Persona 5.

Still, against ice-weak enemies, Frost Lily is also an exceptional target-all attack and is something early-game players can use to their advantage and stockpile golden tickets.

The Phantom Magician

Next up should be the Phantom Magician banner, which contains Joker, the undeniably strongest thief in the game so far. After acquiring Kotone Montagne, all your focus should be on picking up as many Platinum Tickets to aim for Joker.

The biggest issue with the Phantom Magician banner is that it’s only available for a limited time.Persona5: The Phantom Xplayershave until July 23 to pull him before the banner disappears, and when, or if, it returns is anyone’s guess.

Equipment fit to become the king.

Your best bet is to pull as many times as you can and pray to the Gods of the odds to pull him. This banner should also be the one you pour your gems into, so save them and avoid using the in-game currency for the other banners or replenishing your stamina.

Arms Deal (Silent Pistol)

Judging by my logic on why you should pull on the Phantom Magician banner, it should be a no-brainer why the weapons banner must be your next target. Like the former, the Arms Deal banner is around for a limited time and will also go away on July 23.

Your main targets should be the Phoenix Dagger, the Fallen Angel Wing, and the Quasar, as they are by far the strongest weapons available. They also come at the lowest odds, for gacha reasons, of course, but even obtaining one copy of each is good enough.

It’s almost certain the next weapons banner will feature a new set of five-star weapons for different characters, so don’t get too down on yourself if you miss out. Chances are, they’ll be back later, or will remain as one of the possibilities to pull in future banners.

Phantom X Idol Draft

And that brings us to the last, and least important, banner of the four listed. The Phantom X Idol Draft does contain many S-ranked thieves for you to obtain, but there’s no expiry date on this one, which means you have more time to pull on it.

If you’re like me, and you jump straight into the story, you shouldn’t have a hard time piling up those Golden Tickets, which are solely meant for this one banner. Clearing one stage will net you anywhere from one to three tickets, and completing side missions will earn you more.

Like most gacha games,Persona5: The Phantom Xis generous in giving you an abundance of Golden Tickets at the start, but they make you work for it later on. You may want to considerre-rolling for specific characters, especially if you miss out early on.

How To Obtain Tickets & Gems

Your operatus modus when jumping intoPersona5: The Phantom Xshould be to clear as much as the story as possible to get Golden Tickets, Platinum Tickets, and gems. This is, by far, the most effective way togather currency and pullon any of the four banners.

Other ways to earn in-game currency to maximize your potential for acquiring thieves are:

Simply playing the game and having a visit from Lady Luck should put you in a good position to obtain most of the characters currently available. There are only 18 characters to pull on, so do your best to get them all beforePersona5: The Phantom Xbegins adding more thieves.
