As my uncle always said, with great game sales comes great spinoffs. Or something like that.Persona 5was by far the best-selling entry in thePersonaseries, and Atlus, wanting to cash in on that, has been milking theJRPGfor all it’s worth.

The latest spinoff isPersona5: The Phantom X, a free mobile game set in the same universe asPersona 5, but with every single element of other free mobile games.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Vs. Persona 5 Royal: Which Game Is Best?

Two massive and influential turn-based RPGs, but only one clear winner.

So you’re able to expect gacha, lots of collabs with other titles, anda bunch of playersburnt out after pouring in their savings and still failing to get that one coveted character.

Persona5 The Phantom X Reroll Guide (1)

To ease your unluckiness a bit, I madethis reroll guide forPersona5: The Phantom X.For those unfamiliar with the term, rerolling means using all your starting resources to draw from the first banners and, if luck isn’t on your side, creating another account and trying again.

First, your goal is not to link your account to any other login methods. If you have already done so, worry not. It’s easy to unlink the account, just annoying.

Ideally, you play as a guest until you start drawing on the banners called Contracts here inPersona5: The Phantom X. If you’re happy with your luck, go ahead and link your Guest account and live happily ever after.

However, if you’ve spent all your Golden Tickets and resources but received nothing but 4-star Idols, then you’ll need to return to the login page to create another account. You can easily do so on both mobile and Steam.

Follow these steps on the login screen:

Voilà, you’ve created a new account and can start rerolling until all your desires are fulfilled.

However, do know that the devs placed a max account limit due to the flood of new players. Now, each player can only create up to 100 accounts per device.

Let’s be honest here. You’re not going to reroll banners 100 times, right? No one can be that unlucky or that determined to get Panther. Anyhoo, that’s something to keep in mind.

6 Best ATLUS Franchises, Ranked

ATLUS is known and loved for many amazing series, including the following 6 heavy-hitter franchises. Which is the best?

How To Reroll in Persona5: The Phantom X

Let’s say you restarted the game in search of those rerolls. You’ll skip all the cutscenes until you reach free roam in the school, leave the area, skip some more scenes, and you’ll end up in Mementos, where a battle tutorial awaits.

All in all,it should take around 10 minutes before the game lets you take control of theprotagonist in Shibuya, unlocking the game’s gacha system.

Persona5 The Phantom X Reroll Guide (5)

Click on “Contracts” at the top of the screen, ignore the warning, and you can, technically, start your reroll. In many other gacha games, we usually reroll a banner because the game provides us with a substantial amount of starting resources, and we want to spend them wisely, right?

InPersona5: The Phantom X, though, we have an even bigger incentive to reset and reroll. As soon as we unlock Contracts, there’s a category called Newcomer Contracts. This category uses Gold Tickets like any regular draw, but with the bonus that you only need to use 8 Gold Tickets to draw 10 times instead of the usual 10.

This means you can do 50 draws by spending only 40 Gold Tickets– or the equivalent Cognition Crystals/Meta Jewels resource. There’s nothing more tempting in a gacha than the chance to save our hard-earned premium currency.

Scratch that, because apparently, inPersona 5 X, we do have something more tempting, and that’s Ann Takamaki, aka Panther. Did I mention that if you draw 40 times in the Newcomer Contracts, you’re guaranteed to get one 5-star Contract? Oh yeah, you do.

For this banner, you can choose Morgana, Ann Takamaki, orRyuji Sakamoto. But who are we kidding, right? We all know everyone’s picking Panther because, well, she’s fire. I mean, Fire-element aspected, you naughty naughty.

Plus, if you’re lucky and manage to draw Panther before finishing your 50 draws, you can also get another Phantom Thief. That’s the whole point of rerolling, to stack the odds. And this Newcomer Contract is your best bet when creating a hundred accounts.

However, there’s a major caveat: remember, I said you cantechnicallystart rerolling? There’s just one teeny-itsy problem: at this point in the game, you probably won’t even have enough Golden Tickets or resources to do 40 draws.

Everyone, even if you didn’t pre-register, will receive 20 Golden Tickets in the mail, which is halfway there. You can then draw twice, and if you don’t get a 5-star, reset the account.

If you want to keep going, you’ll get 3 more Golden Tickets via the Thieves' Alliance event, and, after getting to level 10, you get plus 10 for a total of 33. With this, you can draw four times. I was unlucky. I rerolled once, and in none of my tries did I nab a 5-star. I only got the guaranteed 4-stars until I had enough Golden Tickets to swipe Ryuji.

Suppose you are satisfied by rerolling. You, lucky bastard, got Yaoling Ling in the draws, a Panther by doing 40 of them, but you still wanted Ryuji. Not to worry,Persona5 Xhears you.

You have 7-day missions that, once completed, grant you another 5-star Phantom Thief among the three mentioned above. So, if you stick with the game, you can get Panther through draws and then another Panther after completing all the missions in the first week.
