Persona 5 Royalwill be crossing over withAnother Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Spacein a brand new collaboration event.Another Edenis a mobile game about a boy named Aldo and his sister Feinne. One day the Beast King appears and seeks to use Feinne’s dormant abilities to erase humans from the world, leaving the planet only for beast-kin. During Aldo’s desperate attempts to rescue his sister a distortion in space-time occurs and sends Aldo 800 years into the future.
The crossover event, Symphony “Bound Wills and the Hollow Puppeteer,” will be released internationally on December 11th of this year. You can check out the official crossover pagehereas well as the trailer below, which shows off gameplay featuring Joker and the rest of the Phantom Thieves:
Joker and Morgana are unlocked as playable characters upon completing their story in the permanent event, which is available after completing Chapter 13 ofAnother Eden. You can also check out the gallery below, featuring screenshots and gorgeous character artwork:
In the finalMorgana’s Report streamAtlus revealed brand new info onPersona 5 Royal. We got to see thenew My Palace mode which we detailed here,as well asPersona 5 Royal’s DLC which will include boss fights againstPersona 3andPersona 4′s protagonists. These battles will be available via the new Challenge Battle modewe previously explained.You can check out some live gameplay of said modehere.
Atlus also revealed thethird full-length trailerforPersona 5 Royal,in which all of the party members get a new introduction trailer:Joker,Kasumi,Ryuji,Ann,Yusuke,Makoto.Futaba,Haru,andMorgana.Goro’s trailer was shown during thegame’s first live stream, where Atlus most notably talked about streaming restrictions. There’s anothernew trailerfeaturing Challenge Battles, new events, and the Fusion Alarm system.
Persona 5 Royalwill also have a few various editions that fans can purchase. TheSteelbook Launch Editionis pretty much exactly what it sounds like and comes with a nice-looking steelbook case for the game.
ThePhantom Thieves Editionon the other hand, will set you back a bit more money but also comes with an art book, a CD containing the soundtrack, a dynamic PS4 theme, a collector’s case, and the mask thatPersona 5’sprotagonist Joker wears in the game. It also includes the same steelbook case from the launch edition.
PS4 exclusivePersona 5 Royallaunches on October 31st in Japan and officially onMarch 31st, 2020in the West. That title has so far hit the 400,000 units sold milestone in Japan, while the originalPersona 5hit 3.2 million unitssold worldwide.
